P.S: my 13-year old brother got the Lego Friends advent calendar and placed the spares from the skateboard on the table. Harry Potter – Despite being a figure that is available in another set there is a lot that is great about this figure. The number of exclusive printed parts is a bit proportionate to the number of exclusive printed minifigure parts, though not perfectly. It is a positive to move away from builds which double as Christmas tree ornaments and instead have a cohesive theme around a play scene.

It is time to open the first door of the advent calendar, which I have been gazing longingly at on the shelf for so long. I’ve seen several variations on this and have a loaded pit full of the original ones from 20 years ago, I think this version is really well done and makes nice use of parts in reddish brown.Unlike last year’s Friends Advent Calendar, you can fold the front down and play on a holiday-themed placemat. The reasoning is that it’s literally modelled after an actual calendar (hence the dates corresponding to the days in December) which culminates on Christmas (Day 25) where you’re meant to open your Xmas present as a finale. With Gonk they included him last year and did a perfect job on that so I was surprised to see him again, so I wasn’t as impressed. It looks great from nearly every single angle, and is quite possibly one of my favourite Advent Calendar builds ever.

Not only does the bright orange topper not make sense for a bottle of butterbeer, Universal Studies also sells bottles of pumpkin juice with the same shape and cap. In terms of accuracy, the Triwizard Cup does a decent job of matching the movie version – with the ghostly transparent blue and snake handles. My favorite one so far is the mini Hogwarts or mini mini mini Hogwarts, because it the scale turn to the regular Hogwarts is tiny. Interestingly, the other side of the table has some Technic holes in them – which suggests that this is only one half of the table, and we might get the other half in the coming few days! The print and overall design of this stand, while simple, look good, It's a print with limited use, but good graphic design nonetheless.
