Bauer Consumer Media Ltd, Company number 01176085; Bauer Radio Limited, Company number: 1394141; Registered office: Media House, Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough PE2 6EA and H Bauer Publishing, Company number: LP003328; Registered office: The Lantern, 75 Hampstead Road, London NW1 2PL Once a phone is paired it will auto connect when the SoundSync is powered on. That means, provided you leave Bluetooth switched on in your phone, all you need to do to start streaming when you get in the car is switch the SoundSync on and open your favourite music app. One of the most expensive bluetooth audio-only transmitters out there. Anker is a good brand name and that must be all you're paying for here. There's a hundred equivalents from competitors that cost significantly less and usually offer more features such as a newer version of Bluetooth and/or the ability to receive as well as transmit. But this price literally is more expensive than all the direct competition from even Best Buy alone, it's audacious for them to be charging it still on such an old out-dated product.

Bluetooth has revolutionized the technological world and allowed us all to integrate wireless devices with ease - thanks to the best Bluetooth receiver. From speakers to smart hubs, wireless keyboards to headphones, Bluetooth is a highly convenient, low-power and low-cost method of seamlessly linking devices for a clutter-free and easy technological life. The SoundSync is extremely easy to use. Once it receives power via the USB connector it can be switched on, after which pairing is very straightforward. A long press on the power button enables pairing and then you can select the device from the phone’s Bluetooth menu. Occasionally a manufacturer or retailer will list a Bluetooth device and reference 2.4GHz. This is because Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz radio frequency range to connect with other Bluetooth devices. This item is designed as a Bluetooth transmitter, therefore, this needs to be plugged into an AUX output of a device so that your headphones or speakers (with BT capability) can pair with your device without Bluetooth function. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It's unusual for this product to be acting like this, and we'd love to get you what you need! As a technology, Bluetooth has been commercially available since 1999. However, it is only in the last decade or so that technology has become widely adopted, particularly with the rise of portable technology, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets. Bluetooth is also commonplace in smart home devices and non-portable technology, like stereos, TVs and gaming consoles. What does 2.4GHz mean?If someone is looking for a way to extend the life of existing audio technology and incorporate it with today’s Bluetooth connectivity, look no further than the Anker AK-A3341011 Soundsync A3341 Bluetooth 2-In-1 Transmitter and Receiver. This versatile device clearly bridges the gap between older and newer technologies. Bluetooth 4.0: This technology introduced a range of improvements over Bluetooth 3.0, including connection stability and transfer speed. Most of all, this generation is noted for debuting Bluetooth LE, also known as Bluetooth Smart. Bluetooth LE vastly lowered the power consumed by Bluetooth connections. I could be bothered with having to plug it in all the time but a great device for those with anuse for it. This is also the case for car stereos that still use 3.5mm aux-in connections. With smartphones such as the Apple iPhone 12 no longer supporting hardware for physical headphone connections, anyone wanting to listen to Spotify or Google Maps as they drive will benefit from a simple plug-and-play Bluetooth receiver upgrade.

Charging the device can be a bit of a pain too. While it boasts an impressive 12-hour battery life, it does require a USB port to charge it, a slightly tedious chore as it leaves a long wire scattered across the centre console. Verdict I just got this to use with these headphones. https://www.audio-technica.com/cms/headphones/0406b80af628416f/index.html This kit received a C for call quality. It's not great. It's not even good. But it's not terrible either. I'd call it "serviceable." In the past, this low grade would have been a big deal, but since studies show hands-free calling isn't safer than hands-full calls, I've deemphasized this feature. It's still a consideration, but only if you're parked.

Bluetooth is a wireless technology used by devices to share data over short distances via radio frequencies. Bluetooth replaces the need for a wired connection between two or more devices.
